Victoria Young practices family law in the Circuit Courts and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts in the City of Fredericksburg and the surrounding counties of Spotsylvania, Caroline, Stafford, and King George. She handles all areas of domestic relations law, including divorce, separation and property settlement agreements, prenuptial agreements, post-divorce disputes, qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs), custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, protective orders, guardianship, and conservatorship cases, among others. Due to the firm’s proximity to military bases, she frequently handles Military divorces as well as Military retirement orders.

Ms. Young is also experienced with adoption cases, including domestic adoptions, re-adoptions for internationally adopted children, adult adoptions, step-parent adoptions, relative adoptions, and same- sex couple adoptions. She is a Guardian ad litem for children in the local courts and represents the best interests of children in custody and visitation disputes, as well as protective orders, child in need of services cases, and child in need of supervision cases.

Born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Ms. Young moved to Virginia after marrying her college sweet-heart, Matthew, and attended T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. She interned at the District Attorney’s Office of Bradley County, Tennessee and later for the Honorable George Varoutsos in the Arlington Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court. Ms. Young also spent part of her legal education studying abroad at the University of Cambridge and interning for Sarah Tether, former Member of Parliament in London, England.

Ms. Young enjoys classic Hollywood movies, family game nights, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Miles. She and her family are very happy to call the greater Fredericksburg area their home.
